The story behind Tiny Tastes
Months of food allergy management, run from memory

Three trips to hospital taught us what Felix is allergic to — an omelette at six months old, formula with milk in it, and a smear of walnut that ended with an EpiPen. Every reaction since starts the same way: not knowing yet whether this is the mild one, then retracing your steps. What did he actually eat? Was there dairy in the mashed potato, even though the label said there wasn't?
We came away with three exposure plans to run at home and a review twelve months away — all of it held in our heads. Then a dose increases, a cold pauses everything for a week, and whoever is home does that day's exposure.
Tiny Tastes is what I wanted then: somewhere to put every exposure down as it happens, so a year of it is still there when your allergist asks.
